Our organic cotton micro-sponge is a stretchy fabric, made of micro-buckles on one side and jersey on the other. Soft and supple, it absorbs moisture gently.

You may be hesitating between cotton micro-sponge and bamboo sponge, which has the reputation of being very soft, right? In reality, the bamboo sponge is a viscose (since bamboo is a wood, not a fiber) whose transformation process is not organic and causes damage to the environment, so we offer you its organic cotton counterpart, just as soft and much more durable.

Your creations, from the bathroom to the dressing room

This fabric has been one of our flagship products since the beginning, and we offer it on our professional site from 3 meters. Our cotton micro terrycloth is organique certified certified by Ecocert and our license number is 189321. We are audited every year by Ecocert to guarantee the organic origin of this fabric.

The naturalness is at the heart of our approach: this reference is not dyed, not bleached, you can even find small discreet residues of cotton which give it the charm of the authentic.

Beyond the organique certification, we wanted to prove chemically the quality of this fabric, which was tested in a textile laboratory concerning the presence of pesticide residues: the results The results showed a total exemption of pesticides including quinoline in this fabric.

Sewing and care: the secrets of success

Our micro sponge is available in a width of 150 cm and you can order any length you like, starting at 30 cm.

It is always advisable to machine wash your fabrics once before sewing, as this fabric will shrink by 10% in height, so it would be a shame to see your creation shrink once finished.

Terry fabrics absorb better after a few washes, be patient ;)

You are now ready to work, don't forget to use a jersey needle, which will prevent your stitch from jumping on this knitted fabric, and be patient to pin your work well or it will go askew when you sew.

Maintain your fabrics in a gentle way, low temperature (even if it can completely support the 60°c), ecological washing powder, reasoned spinning, limitation of the tumble dryer. Did you know that 38% of the carbon emissions generated by the life cycle of a textile come from the "wash-dry-iron" stage? A gesture for the planet, we wash everything softly!

Finally and if necessary, to give him flexibility after washing, a small blow of iron, setting cotton, with vapor.
